www.edufilmfest.org: This is the website for the MTS ComArts sponsored film festival for high school film and video students in the state of Minnesota. If you are enrolled in a video or film production course at your high school, you should check this festival out.

www.wordplayer.com: Two veteran screenwriters offer valuable insight into their craft. This is good stuff for people who want to be screenwriters.

www.google.com: This is a search engine, but it is now even more. You can now use Google docs to create Word-like documents which are saved on the web and accessible from any computer with access to the internet. Great when you work on assignments using several computers.

www.spreadfirefox.com: Fire Fox is an internet browser. It works much the same way as Internet Explorer, some say it is even more simple to use. The best thing about Firefox is the add-on 1-Click Answers. This add-on allows users to click on any word in a web based document and obtain the definition. I highly suggest that you download this browser, add 1-Click Answers, and use it to read the documents in this course. If you need help, feel free to ask.

www.imdb.com: This is the Internet Movie Database. It is a comprehensive list of of domestic and foreign films, Television programs, directors, actors/actresses, and producers. It provides details about virtually any movie you can think of. If there is ever something you can't remember about film, go to IMDB. You can search by actor/actress, director, or movie title.

www.myspace/mtsvideoarts.com: This is the Digital Media Academy MySpace webpage. Use it to network with other filmmakers, students who attend the DMA, and lots of other interesting people and organizations. There are always postings about different events, screenplay contests, and film festivals, one of which might be in your area. Make a friend request while you are there!
